When to use it
Typical uses:- Morning check - a climbing gym owner sees the week’s bookings and payments and how today is going in one glance, without opening Analytics.
- Spot a collection problem - a Pilates studio sees the red Unpaid share in Payments (last 7 days) growing and chases open invoices before the gap widens.
- See where bookings come from - a padel gym reads the source split in Bookings (last 7 days) to tell whether a busy week came from the member app, the website, or a partner platform.
How it works
The panel is shown to staff who can read gym analytics, once your organization has any revenue or members. Before that, Home leaves the panel out rather than showing empty charts. Every chart works the same way:- The figure at the top is the headline number for the period.
- The chart below it has no axes. The labels under it give the first and last day, hour, or month it covers.
- Totals are printed above each bar or point, and hovering shows each series with a Total. Today’s performance and Unique visitors show their values on hover only.
- The legend names each series, with its total for the period where it has one.
- The title links to the full report.
The six charts
Revenue overview
The revenue for the period, with one bar per month stacked by revenue account. The legend lists each account and its total. When you have many accounts, the smaller ones are grouped into Other (N) so the chart stays readable. The chart shows the current month and the two before it by default. To change that, click the settings icon in the chart’s header to open Configure Revenue Widget, set Number of months (1 to 24), and click Update. The setting is saved in this browser only, so it doesn’t follow you to another device or apply to your colleagues. The title opens the Revenue report. Switch to its By account tab to see the same breakdown as the chart.Today’s performance
Today’s net revenue so far, and the day hour by hour: revenue as bars, with bookings created and check-ins as lines. A dashed line marks the current hour, and the hours still ahead are faded. This chart refreshes itself every five minutes. The title opens Today’s performance in Analytics.Payments (last 7 days)
The amount billed over the last seven days, with one bar per day split into Paid (green) and Unpaid (red). The legend shows the total paid and unpaid for the week. The title opens the Payments report.Bookings (last 7 days)
The number of bookings for sessions in the last seven days, today included, with one bar for each day, quiet days included. Bookings count on the day the session takes place, not the day they were made, so today’s bar includes sessions later today. Each bar is stacked by booking source, in the colors your organization uses for its sources, and the legend shows each source’s count for the week. Smaller sources are grouped into Other (N). Cancelled bookings are not counted. The title opens the Bookings dashboard. For how sources are defined, see Bookings by source.Customer growth
How many billable customers you have now: members plus drop-ins. The chart shows the same count week by week over the last 30 days, stacked as Members and Drop-ins. The title opens the Members dashboard.Unique visitors (last 7 days)
How many unique visitors your website and member portal had over the last seven days, counted together, with one point per day. Days with no visitors show as zero. The title opens Web Traffic under Analytics > Website and Apps. See Analytics overview.Troubleshooting
The panel doesn’t appear. You need permission to read gym analytics, and your organization needs at least some revenue or members. See Roles and permissions. A chart shows a dash instead of a number. The data for that chart failed to load. Reload the page. A figure differs from the report it opens. Most reports open on their own default date range. Set the report to the same period as the chart (for example the last seven days) to compare. The numbers don’t change during the day. Today’s performance refreshes every five minutes. The other charts update when you return to the tab after a while, or when you reload the page.Related
