What’s in the section
Open Schedule in the left rail to land on the calendar. The other pages open from the calendar’s More actions menu in its header, from links on detail pages, or from global search.
Related features that run on the calendar:
- Waitlists - who gets a seat when a full class frees up.
- Area blocks - take a court or a whole gym off the bookable schedule for a set period.
- Season passes - sell the same weekly court hour for a whole season as one prepaid contract.
Two things that used to sit next to the schedule now live elsewhere. Areas are configured under Settings > Clubs > Areas (see Areas); the calendar’s More actions menu still links there. Events have their own Events section in the rail (see Events), though live events still show on the calendar as read-only cards.
How the pieces fit together
A booking is the unit of revenue. Every reservation - a member joining a class, booking an area, or buying a personal-training session - becomes a booking row with a transaction attached. The calendar reads bookings, classes, instructor time off, and area blocks for the visible date range and renders them as colored blocks on the resource grid. Classes are scheduled occurrences with capacity and instructors. When a member books a class, a booking row is created against that class. If the class fills up, the waitlist takes over (see Booking policies for the claim window). A check-in records that someone actually came in. It can be anchored to a booking, or recorded against a membership, a direct payment, or an external program, and it reuses the booking pipeline for pricing, payment, and membership usage. See Attendance. A season pass is the long end of the same idea. Instead of one seat it holds one court hour every week of a season, booking every week at the moment of sale, and the member pays once. See Season passes. Areas and instructors are the bookable resources. Areas have operating hours and a price per hour; instructors have a bookable flag, hourly rate, and operating hours or a shift roster. The calendar shows one column per resource in day view, and the booking dialog asks you to pick one (area, instructor, or class) when you create a booking. A booking policy decides the rules that apply to any given booking - when payment is required, whether check-in is enforced, refund tiers on cancellation. Policies can be org-wide or scoped to a gym, area type, class type, instructor type, or plan.Where to start
If you’re setting up a new gym, the usual order is:- Create your gyms under Settings > Clubs > Clubs.
- Add area types and areas under Settings > Clubs > Areas (see Areas).
- Add instructors under Staff > Instructors (see Instructors).
- Configure booking policies under Settings > Bookings > Booking and cancellation policies for payment timing and cancellation.
- Open Schedule and start adding classes and bookings.
