When to use it
Content items let you publish and update copy without touching your website layout. You write an article or an answer once, translate it, and every place that shows it stays in sync. Typical uses:- Post gym news - a padel gym announces its winter league as a Post, and the website’s News section lists it with its own page.
- Answer the same questions once - a yoga studio writes its parking, mat hire, and late-arrival answers as FAQs, so the website’s FAQ section and the member portal show the same answers.
- Teach members how to use the app - a climbing gym writes How-To Guides for booking a slot and freezing a membership, and members find them in the portal.
- Reuse a paragraph across pages - a jiu-jitsu gym keeps its “About us” text as a Block and pulls it into several website pages, so one edit updates them all.
How it works
Every content item has a type, a slug, and a language. The four types and where they show:
Items that share a slug and type are language variants of the same piece. The list shows one row per slug, with the languages it already has.
Signable documents (waivers, terms, privacy policy) are content items too, but you manage them under Settings > Bookings > Waivers, not here.
Content items vs website pages
If you want a brand-new page on your public site, build it in the website builder. If you want a single article that a website section lists (News, FAQ) or the portal shows, create a content item. Copy you would otherwise retype on several pages, such as legal blurbs or an “About us” paragraph, belongs in a Block.Where to find it
Open Marketing > Content. The page groups your items by type (Posts, How-To Guides, Frequently Asked Questions, Blocks), with a tab for each type showing how many items it has. Each row shows the title, status, visibility, and languages. Drag rows by the handle to reorder items within a type. The order you set here is the order they are listed in.Creating a content item
- On Marketing > Content, click Create Content and pick a type. You can also use the Add button next to a type’s heading (for example Add Post).
- Write the body in the block editor. It supports headings, text, images, tables, and more. Images come from your Media library.
- In the Details panel, fill in at least Title, Slug, and Content Type.
- Set Status to Published when it should go live, then save.

Translating and copying
Each row’s language menu offers Translate to each of your organization’s languages that the item does not have yet. Translating copies the item into that language and translates it, then opens the new variant for review. From an item’s own page you can also Copy it, or switch between its existing language variants. Your organization’s languages are set under Settings > Organization > Details.Related
