When to use it
- A member says they never got their booking confirmation. Find the email, see that it Bounced, and read the reason in its details.
- Checking whether members read a message you sent. Filter on Marketing emails and Opened to see who engaged.
- A coach is not getting staff notices. Switch to the Team tab and check the coach’s address for Dropped or Spam status.
Where to find it
Go to Settings > Data Tools > Email activity. The page opens on today’s emails sent to members, newest first. Each row shows the Date, Recipient, Subject, Type, Audience, Template, Status, and Engagement.Filtering the list
- Audience tabs - All, Member (the default), or Team for emails to your staff.
- Time range - Defaults to today. Pick another range to look further back.
- Filters - Narrow by one value of each:
- Email type - System, Transactional, Marketing, or Internal.
- Delivery status - Queued, Sent, Processed, Delivered, Deferred, Bounced, Dropped, Failed, Spam, Unsubscribed, or Skipped.
- Engagement - Opened, Clicked, Unsubscribed, or Spam reported.
Email details
Click a row to open Email details: the subject, recipient, From address, type, audience, template, delivery status, engagement, any Error, and the Created, Sent, Delivered, Opened, and Last event times. When an email was not delivered, the details also check the recipient’s address and explain what is blocking it and what to do next. For example:- The recipient marked email from you as spam, or unsubscribed from all email. Only the recipient can undo this, so ask them to add your address to their contacts and send again.
- The email provider is discarding messages to this address. Contact support to have it cleared, then send again.
- The address is excluded from marketing emails since a given date. Invitations and receipts are still sent.
Permissions
Email activity needs Settings access. Without it, the page says you don’t have permission to view email activity. See Roles and permissions.Related
