The 1Club Platform API is versioned in the URL path. Every endpoint lives under /v1/platform/..., so the version you build against is part of each request and doesn’t change under you.

Changes within a version

Changes that keep existing integrations working ship within the current version. Examples are a new endpoint, a new optional parameter, or a new field in a response. Build your integration so it keeps working as the version grows:
  • Ignore response fields you don’t recognize.
  • Send only the fields an endpoint documents.
  • Rely only on documented behavior. See Official API contract.

Breaking changes

A breaking change ships as a new version in the path, such as /v2, instead of changing v1 in place. Breaking changes include:
  • Removing or renaming an endpoint or a field
  • Changing a field’s type or meaning
  • Making an optional parameter required

Deprecation

Before an operation is removed, it’s deprecated first:
  • Marked in the spec - the operation is flagged deprecated: true in the OpenAPI spec, and this reference shows it as deprecated.
  • Announced in the changelog - the changelog announces the deprecation with advance notice before the operation stops working.
A deprecated operation keeps working during the notice period. Plan your move away from it before it’s removed.

Stay up to date

  • Check the changelog for API announcements.
  • If you generate a client from the OpenAPI spec, look for operations flagged deprecated when you regenerate it.
  • Contact support@1club.ai if a deprecation affects your integration and you need help planning the move.
