# Signing in

> Sign in to 1club with Google, Apple, Facebook, or email and password, across the admin dashboard, member portal, marketplace, club website, and mobile app.

1club supports **Sign in with Google**, **Sign in with Apple**, and **Facebook login**, plus classic **email and password**, across all of its apps. Members, staff, and admins can use whichever method they prefer, and the same identity works on the web and in the mobile app.

## Supported sign-in methods

* **Google** - one-tap or "Continue with Google". Uses your existing Google account, so there is no separate password to remember. Google One Tap can sign returning members in automatically.
* **Apple** - "Sign in with Apple". Uses your Apple ID and supports Apple's Hide My Email (private email relay).
* **Facebook** - "Continue with Facebook".
* **Email and password** - a traditional email and password login, with self-service password reset.

No matter which method you choose, an account is identified by its email address. Signing in with Google, Apple, or Facebook for the first time creates a 1club account (or links to an existing one with the same email) automatically. There is nothing to enable per member.

<Note>
  Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, and Facebook login are available to
  both staff signing into the admin dashboard and members signing into any
  member-facing app.
</Note>

## How sign-in works

All member-facing apps (portal, marketplace, club website, and mobile) sign you in through a single secure sign-in page. Choose a provider or enter your email, authenticate once, and you are returned to the app you started from, already signed in. The mobile app uses the same page in a secure in-app browser, so a member's account and history are identical on web and mobile.

The admin dashboard has its own sign-in page with the same Google, Apple, and Facebook options plus email and password.

## Hide My Email with Apple

When you sign in with Apple, you can choose to hide your email. Apple then gives 1club a private relay address (ending in `@privaterelay.appleid.com`) instead of your real one.

You still receive everything as normal. 1club sends your account and notification emails - booking confirmations, receipts, reminders, and verification emails - to that relay address, and Apple forwards them to your real inbox. There's nothing to set up, and you can change the choice anytime in your Apple ID settings.

<Note>
  Emails to members who hid their Apple email are sent from a 1club address so
  Apple's relay accepts and forwards them, rather than from your club's own
  sending domain. Replies still reach your club.
</Note>

## Linking and switching methods

One email address is one 1club account, regardless of how you sign in. This means:

* If you first signed up with email and password, you can still choose "Continue with Google" or "Sign in with Apple" later, as long as the provider account uses the same email.
* If you signed up with Google, Apple, or Facebook and now want a password (for example, to sign in on a device without that provider), an org admin can set one for you from **Settings > Users** using the **Set password** action. See [Users](/settings/admin-users).
* Members can review their sign-in email on their profile. Staff can review and update theirs under [Profile](/settings/profile).

## Frequently asked questions

### Can members sign in with Google?

Yes. Members can use "Continue with Google" (including Google One Tap) on the member portal, the marketplace, your club website, and the mobile app.

### Does 1club support Sign in with Apple?

Yes. "Sign in with Apple" is available to members on every member-facing app and to staff on the admin dashboard, and it supports Apple's private email relay.

### Can I sign in with Facebook?

Yes. "Continue with Facebook" is available on every app - the member portal, the marketplace, your club website, the mobile app, and the admin dashboard.

### Can staff use Google, Apple, or Facebook to sign into the admin dashboard?

Yes. The admin dashboard offers Sign in with Google, Sign in with Apple, and Facebook login alongside email and password.

### Can I hide my email when I sign in with Apple?

Yes. Choose "Hide My Email" when Apple prompts you. 1club sends your notifications to the private relay address Apple provides, and Apple forwards them to your real inbox - so you still get booking confirmations, receipts, and reminders without sharing your real email.

### I signed up with Google - can I also use a password?

Yes. Ask an org admin to set a password for you from **Settings > Users** with the **Set password** action. After that you can sign in with either method using the same email.

### Do I need to create a separate account for the mobile app?

No. The mobile app uses the same sign-in page and the same account as the web apps. Sign in with any supported method and your memberships, bookings, and history are already there.
